The minneola or "Honeybell" tangelo is a unique hybrid of the Duncan grapefruit and Dancy tangerine, developed by researchers in Florida and released by the USDA in 1930. Whatever it is, it tastes great and is incredibly easy to peel and section. An extremely sweet citrus treat you'll miss when its season ends in the spring.
